Our Ph.D. student Jiří Ulrich received the prestigious IT SPY 2022 award for the best diploma thesis in computer science out of 1 200 Czech and Slovak students.

Daniel Fišer received the AAAI-2022 Honorable Mention Oustanding Paper Award for his paper "Operator-Potential Heuristics for Symbolic Search".

Our Ph.D. student Jindřiška Deckerová won the IT SPY 2021 with her outstanding diploma thesis on Generalized Routing Problems with Continuous Neighborhoods. She is the first woman to win in the competition's 12-year history. 

The Rector of CTU awarded our researchers with medals for extraordinary performances during the Covid-19 crisis.

CTU-CRAS-NORLAB team won silver at the DARPA SubT Challenge in the virtual competition and finished sixth in the competition of real robots.

The FreMEn contra COVID project received a Special Award and 700 000 CZK at the Hack the Crisis virtual hackathon organized by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic and CzechInvest.

CTU-CRAS group that won the DARPA SubT Challenge among the non-sponsored teams received the award for Project of the Year 2019 at the AI Awards ceremony. Also, our joint conference with Avast CyberSec & AI Prague won Event of the Year 2019.  article at iHNed.cz.

Our cross-department team won at the DARPA Subterranean Challenge Urban Circuit among self-funded teams and scored 3rd overall. This marks a great succes for the Czech robotics research!

We won the first place at MBZIRC 2020! Our autonomous drones and ground robots in Abu Dhabi have once again proved to be the world leaders.

Members of AIC succeeded recently in highly selective paper review process of the top Artificial Intelligence conference AAAI-19. Although this year rejection rate was roughly 16%, AIC got accepted 4 papers in various topics of game theory, automated planning and security.

RSS 2018 best student paper finalist to Petr Váňa

Paper of our Ph.D. student Petr Váňa and his supervisor Jan Faigl has been nominated for the best student paper award at prestigious conference RSS 2018 held in Pittsburgh. The title of the paper is "Optimal solution of the Generalized Dubins Interval Problem."
