The MyWay project (European Smart Mobility Resource Manager MyWay) funded primarily by the European Commission, develops next-generation trip planning technology for sustainable transport mobility. In the project, the Department's Agents4ITS group is responsible for the overall design and architecture of the MyWay platform as well as for the design and implementation of the core trip planner component. The trip planner component utilizes a novel metaplanning approach -- metaplanning enables MyWay to integrate existing journey planners with limited mode and geographical coverage into a single fully intermodal journey planner supporting all possible modes of transport and their combinations.  The MyWay platform has successfully completed first field trials in Catalonia, Berlin and Trikala, Greece and its final version is scheduled for early 2016.
